As a nonprofit professional, you feel like you’re always expected to do more with less… which means not just managing a full plate of tasks and responsibilities, but feeling fully responsible for them.

You’d love to share the load, but it always feels like if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself…

So you take on as much as you can, ensuring that everything you do is done with excellence.

I understand the pressure you’re under.

But do you find yourself editing and re-editing documents, believing that one more tweak will make the difference? Do you agonize over decisions as simple as choosing food for a board retreat, worrying about how it will be perceived? Or maybe you obsess over making donor videos perfect, fearing they’ll either look too amateur or too professional.

Unfortunately, this frantic pace and impossibly high standard just isn’t sustainable. You’re emotionally drained and overworked, and about to crack under the pressure of everything having to be a certain way.

If this sounds familiar, you need to know that you're not alone!

…and I’m a recovering perfectionist!

My perfectionism was driven by more than just high standards—it made me feel like I was in control of what other people thought of me. I thought perfectionism would protect me from the pain of mistakes or my tendency to equate errors with personal failure or inadequacy.

I thought I would finally be enough when I was perfect. But perfection is an illusion, so it only fueled my feelings of not-enoughness.

The effects of that kind of pressure started showing up in my work, my relationships, and my physical and mental health… which is what forced me to address my perfectionism head on.

And today, I want to share the solutions that have worked for me and the hundreds of other fundraisers that I have worked with.

So, are you ready to leverage the power of executive coaching to finally get your perfectionism under control?
