Phase 0 is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation of executive coaching tools and habit building tutorials to optimize your time, decrease your outreach and sales resistance and help you start to think critically and creatively about the partnerships you want to build in this space.

  5. You will learn the basics of habit and behavior design, which is essential for creating long-term sustainable partnerships



This unit is all about finding the RIGHT partners. So often, we are ghosted by potential partners because they are not in alignment with our work. We’re looking for the wrong things or we’re not looking deep enough. The first step is to know what to look for when it comes to alignment and then to know how to position your business in the right way to make sure the alignment is clear to the partner. The Partner Mapping Framework walks you through all of this, step-by-step.

  1. You will identify your business needs and specific business alignment areas 
  2. You will identify your business assets
  3. You will understand how different types of companies make decisions and how they are looking to partner with and/or fund organizations.
  4. You will get prospecting tips and strategies to stay in action so you’re not over-prospecting (it’s a THING).
  5. You will align the goals and assets you identified earlier with different types of partners to create your ultimate partner map and understand where to start 



Effective engagement requires you to know what to say, and how to say it. But it also requires you to show up with the right energy and mindset for your outreach. Like energy attracts like energy and what you put out is 100% what you’re going to get back. By the end of this phase…. 

  1. You will understand the Know, Like, Trust factor that your partners are looking for and why authentic relationship building is the key to unlocking relationships 
  2. You will have a step-by-step roadmap for outreaching to potential companies, sponsors, and consultant collaborations 
  3. You will understand how to turn your assets into partnership benefits and how to price things so that these partnerships stabilize your business in a meaningful way.
  4. You will have guidance and templates on how to organize a page on your website and create a media kit to use in your outreach and follow-up.  
  5. The Fear or Gut? lesson at the end is a MUST to make sure you’re not telling stories about your intuition that are actually fear-driven.



Once you’re identified the right partnerships and know how to engage them in a conversation. You need a plan in place for outreach and meeting preparation. You need to know what to say in the meetings and how to say it, and how to arrive at the simple YES to your partnership proposal. 

  1. I will walk you through my Engagement Cycle and Follow-Up (because even your best partners are busy)! But don’t worry – this is NOT hounding! This is often necessary to secure the meeting. It works. 
  2. Before your meeting, you will walk through exactly how to plan and prepare for any partnership meeting. 
  3. You will create a partnership benefit document that speaks to exactly what you can offer at different content partnership investment levels.
  4. I will walk you through exactly how to transition from free content collabs to talking about paid services in a connected way that makes everyone feel good.
  5. Plus, once you get that SIMPLE YES, I will talk to you about the importance of partnership retention so that your partnership dollars become reliable year after year.
